A Paytm user will earn Rs. 100 every time his/her friend or relative joins Paytm through his/her invitation! And this is not it, even the one who joins Paytm through the invitation will also receive a surprise cashback reward on making his/her 1st UPI transaction through Paytm.

What is Paytm Refer & Earn- An Initiative to go Digital

Paytm Refer & Earn consists of two people as follows-

1. Referrer- One who refers/invites another person to join Paytm

2. Referee- Person who gets referred by the referrer

Paytm’s Refer & Earn is basically a program for Paytm users to invite new (who have never used Paytm before) or inactive (not used Paytm in the last 3 months) users to start using Paytm. The following points will provide more knowledge about Paytm’s Refer & Earn-

1. Paytm Refer & Earn program can be used by Paytm users called referrers to invite and motivate their friends, relatives and more to join Paytm

2. Rs 100 cashback is given to the referrer every time a referee joins through the link and do his/her 1st UPI transaction

3. The referee who joins Paytm through Refer & Earn program will get a guaranteed cashback after performing his/her first UPI transaction through Paytm

4. There is no limit on the number of people a referrer can share the referral link with

5. A referrer can earn referral benefits for a maximum of 20 referees in a month and 100 new referees overall

6. A referral won’t be considered successful if the referee makes the payment from Fino Payments Bank, Airtel Payments Bank, Indusind Bank, Development Bank of Singapore, Fincare Small Finance Bank, NSDL Payments Bank

7. Cashback won’t get processed if the referrer’s or the referee’s bank account is not linked with Paytm UPI

8. It is a must to link the bank account with Paytm UPI within 7 days after being eligible for the Refer & Earn cashback, else the cashback might get expired

How to Use Paytm Refer & Earn?

Following are the methods to use Paytm refer & earn-

Method 1- From the drop-down menu

1. Login to the Paytm application

2. Scroll the screen and reach the last part of the application and find ‘Refer & Earn Rs. 100’

3. Click on it and share your referral link over Whatsapp or any other preferred medium with your friends or family

Method 2- From the Search icon

1. Login to the Paytm application

2. Click on the ‘Search’ icon (available on the top right corner of the screen)

3. Search ‘Refer & Earn’ and click on Refer & Earn icon

4. Now, share the referral link over Whatsapp or any other preferred medium with your friends or family .

Paytm’s Refer & Earn- How can a Referrer earn Rs. 100?

Once the referrer is done with inviting the referee to join Paytm, he/she is required to do the following task-

1. The referrer is required to ask his/her friend to join Paytm through the invite given by him/her only

2. Once the referee joins Paytm through the referrer invite and makes his/her first UPI transaction, the latter will get Rs. 100 cashback

Where to find Refer & Earn feature on the Paytm app?

A referrer can find the Paytm refer & earn feature through the following ways-

1. Through the featured section

1. Login to the Paytm application

2. Scroll the screen and go to the ‘Featured’ section to find the ‘Refer & Earn’ feature

3. Click on it, choose the desired platform to send the ‘Refer & Earn’ request to the referee

2. From the drop-down menu

1. Login to the Paytm application

2. Scroll the screen and reach the last part of the application and find ‘Refer & Earn Rs. 100’

3. Click on it and choose the preferred medium to send invites to the referee

3. Through the Search icon

Login to the Paytm application
Click on the ‘Search’ icon (available on the top right corner of the screen)
Click on it and write ‘Refer & Earn’
Now, choose the preferred medium to send invites to the referee

Note-

Users can also send invites to the referee from the contact list
The contact list only shows the names of people who are not using the Paytm application

What are the Eligible Payments for Referees?
Following are the payments that can be made by the referee to earn surprise cashback-
- UPI money transfer to any bank account number, UPI ID or to any mobile number
- Payment towards bills/recharges or to complete any payment through Paytm UPI
- UPI payment using the Paytm UPI ID on digital online apps
- Completion of payment through QR code to the bank account
